after installation and the start, i see the icon down but
it doesn't open the window.

Please open 'control panel -> programs and features ' and check if .NET framework 4 is installed. If you can't find it there, please run this installer -

if you can already see it listed, try repairing using this tool -

by 'see the icon down' do you mean it shows as started in the taskbar, but clicking it does not display the window? Can you see xmlviewer.exe process running in the Windows task manager?

More info:

.NET framwork 4 is already installed
I've started also the repairing tool and
I see xmlviewer.exe in the Windows task m,
but XLMviewer has the same problem.

Hi,

Are you running the viewer directly from its start menu shortcut, or by opening an xml file from Windows Explorer?

When executed it should create a text log file at this location (by default): C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\XmlViewer\log.txt. Can you attach this file here so that we can inspect it.

Hi,

Does this happen if you delete the settings.xml file and run the application again? This file is located in the same folder as the log file.
