You can get text entered by user after double click by calling link.getText(). Not sure what you mean by style - there are the Shape and ControlPoints properties for links geometry and Style, Stroke, Brush, HeadShape, etc for appearance.

Call setHeadShape / setBaseShape methods with one of the shape names listed here -
