I'm trying to add my own navigation buttons to the calendar-control, but changing dates using the Date property only works "most of the time", even if I use a update() afterwards my navigation buttons seem to "lock up" while the built-in controls still work just fine..

What is the correct way of changing date manually?

What view are you using? The Date property doesn't govern all views. For example dates displayed in the timetable view are controlled by the TimetableSettings.Dates property.

In any case it would be helpful if you post or mail the source code in the buttons' event handlers.
