NetDiagram 1.0.3 has been released!

Version 1.0.3 of NetDiagram contains the following new features:

~ OrthogonalLayout automatic graph layout class
~ laying out unconnected subgraphs so that the diagram covers a minimal area
~ Overview control for JavaApplet mode
~ ShapeListBox control for JavaApplet mode
~ RoundRectangleTemplate shape definition element

An evaluation version is available for download here:

Registered customers are going to receive their upgrades shortly.

Is this version compatible with flowchart.net 5.02? Is it possible simply to migrate from fc to this new version?

The next version will be compatible with the FlowChart.NET 5 API. We'll probably post a pre-release version next month.

We'll upload a preview build of Netdiagram 2 next week - it will be compatible with the flowchart.NET 5 API.

The ImageMap mode has been implemented in the new API - I can send you a preview version if you wish to try it. The applet-mode should be ready in 2-3 days as well, and we'll upload a full beta version then.

thanks, we will wait for the beta.

Another question: We will replace our Flowchart.NET Professional implementation with NetDiagram 2.0. Are the NetDiagram 2.0-Web-Functions identical with FlowChart.NET Standard or Professional Version?

Hi Chris,

The features from Flowchart.NET Pro that aren't available in NetDigram 2 are ControlNodes and the Ruler and ShapeToolbar controls. Everything else from the MindFusion.Diagramming namespace is there.

Hi Chris,

We are almost there - only have to move the samples to the new API and import the new reference into our documentation generator, and will start the official beta tests next week. For now you can get the version 2 applet and dlls here:

There are two sample projects included in the zip, demonstrating the ImageMap and JavaApplet modes.
