End of .NET 1.1 support

Since Microsoft are ending the mainstream support of .NET 1.1 in six months (October, 2008), and because it is difficult for us to support three versions of the framework, we are ending .NET 1.1 support too. Next releases of MindFusion components will include only assemblies for .NET 2.0 and .NET 3.5, and sample projects for Visual Studio 2005 and 2008.

We may still provide .NET 1.1 builds of new versions upon request, as long as we haven't started using .NET 2 specific features in the controls implementation. We'll provide technical support and bug fixes for older versions' .NET 1.1 assemblies as long as they are in use.

If anyone has any objections, let us know as soon as possible.

Microsoft can do this any time. But product development companies like ours cant do that. We are taking large effor to build something and marketing it. In the mean while MS changes their dev platform, Framework etc. But how can we rebuild the entire application in which we made significant investment. So you should support existing customers in case they need anything
