Even with ScrollInterval=6 the same thing happens:

(Jan,Feb,Mar) switches to (Apr,May,Jun).

But I want (Feb,Mar,Apr) -- even with custom buttons there seems to be no property for disabling the inbuilt ones?

This is a bug. It is now fixed and will be available in the next build.
