Overview with new .jar file and dlls

Hello,

I installed the new 3.1 version dlls and the new .jar file for NetDiagram.

- I am still getting the red beta text at the top no matter what I do to try to replace the old dlls - but I opened a Help Ticket for this so I will wait for suggestions on that.

- My Overview is now not working and I have not changed any code or design. I'm running in JavaApplet mode. Has anyone come across this?

Hey,

I deleted it then readded it instead of replacing it and the red beta version text is gone! Nice!

The Overview still is not there, but I'll nose around my code some to see what I can come up with.

Does the overview appear when you start the Flowcharter sample project?

Ah, I found what it was (and yes the overview does work in Flowchart)

When I put added the property JavaArguments="-Xmx300m" to the diagram the overview stopped working (in both my diagram and the Flowcharter example)

Maybe my value for that property is ill formatted or I have an old version of Java installed. If it's the later, I'll go without that parameter since our end users may not know/want to update their java applet version.

With the last beta version though, I had that property set the same for the diagram and the overview worked.

We'll check if the latest Java runtime perhaps includes these arguments as part of the applet's codebase. If the Java plugin considers the diagram and the overview loaded from different codebases, it will load them into separate virtual machines and the overview won't be able to access and render the diagram.
