Reads a string value with the specified name.

 Parameters

elementName

The name of the element containing the string value.

parentElement

The parent element of the node with the specified name.

defaultValue

The value to return if the specified element is not found.

A string value. Returns an empty string if there is no element with the specified name under the specified parent and defaultValue.
