Problem with pointers for pie charts

Some of the pointers to pieces in my pie chart do not appear. There are pieces with a pointer but some are without.  I have no clue what might be wrong.

Probably you have not set the ShowPiecePointer property to PiecePointer.Always. If the value of the property is PiecePointer.ByOverlapping piece pointers shall be drawn only if the pieces are too small and the label cannot be drawn. Thus, bigger pieces have no pointers, while smaller do.

Is there a way to control the length of the doughnut part in doughnuts? I need to draw some labels inside the pieces.
