Grouping resources

Is there any way of grouping resources so they appear in a tree view. I'm using your control to display hotels suites using the resource view and I would like to group them by their type.

Regards,
Simon

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to group resources in a tree hierarchy. We might be able to implement this feature for you if you provide us with more detailed specification on what you expect. Any drawings you can make to illustrate this feature will also help alot.

Hi Simon,

In response to your last e-mail, we indeed lack the kind of functionallity you are requesting. We are currently making final preparations on the upcoming version 4.1 and will not be able to implement the grouping feature yet. We can start working on it once version 4.1 is officially released.

As for the custom themes - it is not possible to create new themes yet, because the themes are a bit complex.

Each theme represents a set of properties corresponding to various properties in the control. When certain property in the control is not set, the corresponding property from the current theme is used instead. This requires all properties in each theme to be explicitly defined. And there are several hundreds of properties out there. Specifying each on of them is a tremendous work. That's why we have decided to disable user-defined themes for now.
