hey,
it seem we have a similar problem - when i do a get latest on a solution which depends on an flowchart.net driven project it i get a:

Error168Exception occurred creating type 'MindFusion.FlowChartX.FlowChart, FlowChart.NET, Version=4.2.1.26908, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=a0d18338041985ba' System.ComponentModel.LicenseException: Couldn''t get design-time license for ''MindFusion.FlowChartX.FlowChart''V:\C#\SHSP\Swisscom.IT.SHSP.WorkflowAddin\Pro
perties\licenses.licx1Swisscom.IT.SHSP.WorkflowAddin

even if do a complete flowchart.net installation
i don't want to work with this component, i just want to be able to do a complete rebuild - the best would be without installing flowchart.net
what's wrong ?

Hi,

If you need to rebuild a project without installing the full package, you will have to at least copy the design-time license to your registry. On a system where the control is installed, open the following key in regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MindFusion Limited\ComponentLicenses

and export it to a file, then copy it to your system and import it there.

Version 4.2.2 of the control looks for a MindFusion.Diagramming.WinForms.FlowChart value under that key, while in older versions you will need a MindFusion.FlowChartX.FlowChart value.

... additionally, if you have upgraded to version 4.2.2, you will need to rename the class name in the .licx file to"MindFusion.Diagramming.WinForms.FlowChart".
