WPF / .net 3.0 was released yesterday:

are we going to see support for some of the scalable elements in WPF anytime soon?

Thanks, Chad

Yes, our developers are working on a WPF version of the control. It is a complete rewrite of FlowChart.NET though, and not just adding WPF to the current code base.

The API will be pretty much the same, unless the different programming model in WPF requires some changes, e.g. as is the case with custom drawing and ControlHost nodes.

Hello Phil,

The first WPF release will have the FlowChart.NET 4.2.* features, but without any of the extra components - importers/exporters and additional UI controls. We expect to have it ready in a couple of months, but it won't be a part of the FlowChart.NET 5 release. Then we hope to catch up with the WinForms version in a few more months.

We've ported the shapes and control-hosting functionality. No tables yet, and the arrows are only displayed, but can't be yet interacted with. I guess we can post here a preview version in a few weeks when the arrows are implemented too.

Any update?

We're going to start some new developments in this area within the next few weeks and we'd like to go ahead and do the WPF port before we start "enhancing".

Thanks, Chad

The main component is almost ready, here is a preview version -

https://www.mindfusion.org/_temp/fcnet_wpf_test.zip

We will need some more time to port the import/export components, create examples and help file.
