If you are using Day Range view the items don't show DescriptionText, only the header text.

Is there a way for the items to display both: Header and Description text using Day Range view? ???

Try setting the DayRangeSettings.DaySettings.HeaderSize to a value greater than 0. A value of 0 makes the item header fill the whole date cell.

What value have you tried with? A header with height larger than the day cell won't leave any space for the description.

Or maybe I haven't understood correctly - is your problem that there is an appointment description area visible, but it does not display any text?

Unfortunately item description is only displayed in a Timetable view. All other views were designed to display only the item header, mainly due to limitation of the available space. You can of course use custom drawing to render both header and description in a Day Range view.
