Control appears to freeze on post back.

I have found the NetDiagram control to be excellent so far and have had no problems working the with the sample projects. However when trying to use it in a real world project I have had a problem with the post back.

My ASP.NET 2.0 project features Master Pages, a sitemap and and the Ajax.Net Update Panel in the Master Page for the content.

In a simple page consisting of a FlowChart and an asp.net button control, when the button is clicked the content of the flowchart dissappears including scroll bars and the control no longer responds to user interaction. Only when I click on the button again does the diagram repear and the control respond to interaction.

Does any one have any ideas?

Thank you for letting us know about this problem. Does it happen when using the applet mode, or the image-map one? and is the flowchart instance placed inside an Update Panel?

This happens in Applet Mode. Update Panel is in the master page. The Update Panel contains a content place holder in which the page containing the Flowchart appears.

Many thanks.

It seems the client side scripts that initialize the applet are not executed after UpdatePanel postbacks. We will try to find some work-around in the next few days.

Hello,

Could you check if this version of the dll works any better with the UpdatePanel in your page?
