Is it possible to create a tablenode with a top and bottom caption?

If you don't need to enable table scrolling, you could use the last row as a caption. Set the first cell's ColumnSpan = table.ColumnCount and set its Text to whatever you need as a caption. For scrollable tables, you could implement that through custom-drawing.
