We've been planning this version to be a big release, and have implemented a new layout class, an Overview control for ImageMap mode, and the Silverlight front-end is almost ready now. However because of the problems with the recent two JRE updates, we need to release v2.1 urgently, and won't have the time to document and test the new features. We are leaving them for the next version, which we'll try to release in January.

Now we'd be very obliged to anyone who tries how the JavaApplet mode works in this beta with any JRE version you might have.

Apart from the fixes we had to make for JRE6U10 and JRE6U11, NetDiagram v2.1 add interactivity to ImageMap mode and the following customer requested features:
- ScriptHelper methods to define AnchorPattern objects on the client side (JavaApplet mode)
- the CreatingAreaElement event, which lets you add custom attributes to the AREAs rendered for diagram items (ImageMap mode)
