If I define by boxes with multiple incoming arrow anchor points, is there any way to force the system to evenly distribute the incoming arrows across them?

There isn't any built-in feature available to distribute the arrows evenly, but you could loop over IncomingArrows and OutgoingArrows of the boxes and set the arrows' OrgnAnchor and DestAnchor.
