Force grouping on layered layout

Hi,

Is there a way to force grouping in the layered layout? We are trying to create a dynamic time lapse swimlane.  If not, is there a way to add certain locational constraints to the layered layout calculation?

Hi,

It depends on what kind of grouping you need. Try calling the AttachTo method for some nodes while they are in the order you need them, and then call Arrange with the KeepGroupLayout property set to true. Is this close to your requirements?
