Hi,

A friend a mine is porting FlowChart.NET code from version 4 to version 5.

What are the equivalent of Flowchart.BeingUpdate & Flowchart.EndUpdate in version 5?

Hi,

I don't think there were such methods in version 4, unless they are derived from the base Control class, in which case they should be available in DiagramView now. Also check BeginEdit/EndEdit methods of DiagramView, or SuspendLayout and ResumeLayout.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I'm sorry, there was a typo. It was BeginUpdate Wink. I think those methods might have been added by someone else in our company... I'll investigate more.

In the mean while, I was wondering if we could still have access to Flowchart 4.2.2.0's documentation somewhere?

Thanks a lot!

I confirm that BeginUpdate was a custom change we did (sorry Wink). Nonetheless, I didn't find your SuspendLayout method (I looked in Diagram & DiagramView)... Could you tell me where is it please?

Edit: I found it. The method is not in the documentation, because it is inherited from System.Windows.Form.Control Wink
