When I paste a shape node it adds two steps to the undo manager. It adds one step for creating the shape in the same place as the old one, and on step for moving the shape. So if I want to undo the pasting of a shape I have to press undo two times.
Pasting a link only adds one step, so it’s not as easy as just merging the last two undo records.

Try calling UndoManager.StartComposite before PasteFromClipboard and CompositeCommand.Execute() after that.
