Is this planned/possible? Maybe derived from DateEventArgs with an additional property "Lane" (either 0..2 or a new enum {top, middle, bottom}).

It is not planned but we will consider implementing this for the next release. By 'lanes', are you referring to the three timelines displayed at the top of the view?

Oops, yes, I meant the timelines. The lanes already trigger the DateClick event just fine.
