We will consider implementing this in the next release. However, the selection is a separate object only in Resource in Timetable views (where cells can be partially selected). In the other views there is no selection objects, simply the style of the individual cells changes when the cells are selected. Therefore there might be some complications implementing tooltips for the selection in these views.

Already helpful. But it would be perfect when it would already show (und update) while I'm selecting the range before the left mouse button is released.
