Hi,
I'm using the CalendarView.SingleMonth. Currently however, if there are more than 6 appointments on the same day, it only displays the top 6, and there is no indication that there are more items that are not shown.

Is there a simple way to give an indication in the interface that there are more appointments on that day?

There is no simple way to do this. The only way I can think of is to create a custom cell template, which displays an indication when there are more than a predefined number of items in the cell. Even then, I am not really sure it is possible to implement such template. I will have to try it out and will let you know.

However, I will add this feature to the suggestion list for the next release.

I have modified the Holidays sample so that the custom CellTemplate demonstrated in it now displays an arrow when there are invisible items within the cell. The modified sample can be downloaded from the following link:

Hi Meppy,

Can you tell me if this feature has made it to the next release?

I'm about to implement the modified example you've provided, but was wondering that if or when this feature is implemented, it's better to wait for this release.

Unfortunately we didn't plan this feature for version 2.2, which was released a couple of weeks ago. We will try to implement it for the next release.

A new version of the control can be downloaded from the link below:

The version has a built-in indication when there are invisible items in all day views - SingleMonth, MonthRange, List and WeekRange. The indication is disabled by default. To enable it, set Calendar.ItemSettings.ShowMoreItemsCue to true. In addition the Calendar control now exposes a new event (HiddenItemClick) which is raised whenever the indicator is clicked by the user.
