Hello,

Flowchart.NET looks like the perfect fit for an upcoming project, but I need to know one thing:

Will it run on Linux w/ Mono?

We need to be able to run cross-platform.

It did not work well last time we tried a few years ago. We'll check it again tomorrow.

Hi,

It does not work well yet; the sample we tried printed "not implemented" warnings in the console about the Graphics.TransformPoints method, which the control uses a lot. We also tried our Silverlight control under Moonlight - it seemed to work fine at a first glance. If you have not decided on the platform yet, you might also check our Java/Swing component.

Hi Rob,

We tried it on the version included with the latest Suse Linux, I think Mono v2.6.4. We can check it on 2.8 next week.

Hi Rob,

Mono 2.8 does not work either. We managed to get most of it working with a custom TransformPoints implementation, though there are still some glitches when scrolling the diagram; we can try to find a work-around if you are still interested in using Mono.
