Can't say how perfect it is but it works well enough in custom software we develop for clients. If you need to create reports on the schedule appointments, note that some subset of the report control features is exposed through classes in the Scheduling.Reporting namespace. They are tailored to the planner control and in such case will be easier to use than the general report control.
