Anchor points

Hello,

I'm trying to add anchor points to shape nodes and after that is done I try to connect links. Well the anchor points from each node don't seem to work when I hover over the anchor I want to connect to. It connects to the first anchor of the node. Is there a way to prevent this so I can connect any anchor point to any other anchor?

I'm using version 5.5

Frank

Hi,

Have you set the AllowIncoming and AllowOutgoing properties to true for all anchor points?

I just tried that; what happens is if the same object is used to connect to a different anchor the original anchor is what it ends up connecting to.

If I move the object about the links reconnect to anchors that are closest to the object that is being moved.

I need the links between anchors to be perminate or static once they've been connected.

I think the Dynamic property does that. Is it enabled for your links?
