Two remarks about searching on this forum ...

If you enter something in the little field where it says "Search" at the top of the discussion overview, then I think the default time period for the search is only one week. This is unfortunate - if you get told there are no hits you assume the thing you are searching for has never been mentioned on the forum, so then maybe you ask a question that has already been asked and answered. This wastes both the developer's time and your time.

If, after a couple of failed attempts using the little search field, you notice the Search menu item, you run into another problem. You can set "This post was made in the last..." value to "(all posts)", but then you typically experience that a search takes a very long time. So to speed it up you try to use the "Choose the board(s) to search in:" selection box. But here there seems to be some kind of bug - the item "Windows forms" appears four times on the list, so I don't know if selecting one of them or all four of them is the thing to do. ("News" appears six times!)
