Nodes position changing

I have created nodes in border tree layout. Sometimes the nodes change their position. Do you know any reason why it can happen?

It should depend on the order of diagram's nodes and links arrays. Does your expand/collapse code does anything to change it, like loading nodes asynchronously from server and unloading when collapsed?
