A string that specifies the name of the database field.

 Remarks

The property enables you to bind the labels drawn outside pie pieces to a field in a database. The data source object is specified with the DataSource property. If it is of type DataSet you can use the DataMember property to specify a given table as source for the chart data. In this case the fields of the table appear as items in the drop down combo box in the OuterLabelsField property of the pie control.

The labels specified with the OuterLabelsField are drawn only if the OuterLabelType property of the chart is set to LabelType.CustomText.

The OuterLabelsField property, when populated with data, is the same as the OuterLabels property.

Default value for the OuterLabelsField property is an empty string ("").
