Contacts Collection again

Hi,

Im displaying items with the contact group but am also displaying a single contact but settings the group by setting to none.  I am still adding the items to the contacts collection but if i am not in groupbycontact mode the cal.selection.contact is null.

Is there anyway round this as for example when i am just displaying a single contacts items i dont want the grouping header so switch the group by setting off.

Cheers.
Damian

PS:Im also VERY interested in the database binding.  Wish this had been there from the start.  Looking forward to trying it out.

The Selection.Contact references the contact whose cells are currently selected in the current calendar view. When you do not use grouping (i.e. Calendar.GroupType is set to GroupType.GroupByContacts) then there are no cells associated with a particular contact, thus Selection.Contact is null.

As for the data-binding, it is currently being implemented and will be available with the new version of Planner.NET.
