Hosting of MFC ActiveX in flowchart's item

Hi, All

I have generate ActiveX by means of MFC Wizard with default settings (Visual Studio 7.1).
I'd like to host it in box item. But flowchart writes "ActiveX control not instantiated".
At the same time I have generated ATL ActiveX with default settings and flowchart component has no problems to host it.

Please, could someone explain what is problem with MFC ActiveX?

Note that MFC ActiveX works as expected in other environments (VB, ActiveX Test container).

Thanks

Hi,

The set of ActiveX interfaces implemented by MFC controls was changed between versions 6 and 7 of VS, and older FlowChartX versions could not instantiate MFC controls created with VS 7.

I think that problem has been fixed in one of our recent releases - could you try loading your control with the latest FlowChartX version here:

Thank you! The MFC ActiveX works with FlexChartPro 4.1.

My previous the component's version is 4.01.
