Reviewing the examples I found the custom viewers, that is very close to what I need. However the Interface IItemViewer is not available for pockectPC. Sad

Is there another way to customize how the items/appointments are displayed on the pocket PC?

You could set the Calendar.CustomDraw property to CalendarItem and handle the Draw event to draw the appointments yourself.

there is still an issue. When the appointment is selected on the calendar, the appointment is rendered twice, using the default way to draw the appointment plus the new one that I created.

Can I disable the deault "Display" for the item so only what I want is displayed?

The custom drawing is indeed performed once the item is rendered with the default appearance. We did this because we cannot assume whether the client would wish to completely redraw the item or whether he would only add some decoration on top of the default rendering. It is logical however to be able to "disable" default rendering and we will add this feature along with the rest of the requests.
