Can't see Manip handles?

I'm using FlowchartX Pro v2.3, and I've made a flowchart that is being populated from a database via my application.

I had originally locked down the flowchart so the user couldn't touch it. I had staticmode set but realized this stopped the mousemove from working, so staticmode went back to being off, I set the behavior to bhModify, and locked all the boxes/arrows.

So now I wanted to make the boxes draggable. I turned off the locked property, and I can move around and size the boxes, but the manipulation handles don't appear!

Oddly enough, maniuplations handles do appear for my arrows.

I've set a whole whack of properties, so probably something is just set wrong. Can someone tell me what are the various properties associated with the manipulation handles and maybe I can figure out which one is wrong?

Some of my relevant properties that are set:

- Dragdrop is registered
- I'm using a custom shape template
- boxselstyle = sstSquareHandles
- behavior = bhModify
- my box is a group, with a large master box and three sub-boxes inside joined using AttachProportional()
- ModificationStart = mdAutoHandles

Whoops nevermind, I had set the box's selstyle to be invisible.
