Obstacles in containers

Hi online. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to use routing inside a container when the container itself must be an obstacle. So - for example you have nested containers, and shapes inside those containers. If i make the sub-container 'Obstacle' property false - then the routing is applied to the shape nodes inside; however if i set the property to true, the routing is ignored. This is undesirable though, because the sub-container still needs to be an obstacle to the other containers links within the same parent container. I hope this makes sense. Any ideas? Thanks Smiley

Hi,

We will have to alter the routing algorithm so that it marks only the container borders as obstacles in the routing grid. We'll try to implement this for the next release.

Hi,

Try this version:
https://mindfusion.org/_beta/ctr_routing.zip

Now if a container node is set as an obstacle, only it borders are marked as obstacles in the routing grid.

I hope that helps,
Stoyan
