How do I assign nodes to layers? I'm not sure how to use this LayeredLayout class.

Never mind. I figured it out. This is a very nice class - very nice capability. The only thing I can find that is lacking with this class right now (given my current understanding of it) is that if I have two unconnected flows of components, that the groups are laid out from left to right. The flow is correctly set up to go from left to right within component "chains", but I would like groups of components to be laid out from top to bottom, so that most or all of the "Input" components are along the left side, and the "output" components are along the right side. Otherwise, I have to scroll to the right to see all of the various groups.

I suspect that this can be remedied by a setting, but I have not found it, yet.

Set LayeredLayout.MultipleGraphsPlacement = Vertical.

I hope that helps,
