Dear Stoyo,
I think there is nothing like lighting model in the DiagramView3D. Let me know if it is..

Is there anyway to emulate it?

Hi Aziz,

Indeed, there isn't a lighting model implemented. You could try custom-drawing as shown in the C# version of the MoleculeViewer example. You could paint with a LinearGradientBrush where the Alpha value changes, so a side of the node gets darker than the opposite one.
