Problem of slowness when moving in a graph

Hello,

I have a feedback from a customer when we are using the ActiveX 5.4.

In a graph, when we are moving with the mouse in the bottom of the document the move is very slow and the selection of a box also. I think it is a redraw problem of your activex.
More you go to the bottom of the graph, more the moving are longs.

I am using Powerbuilder but I have reproduced the problem with you VB Flowcharter sample. I send you a file containing the graph saved with the SaveToFile method. You can try yourself in you VB sample opening the same file. The graph is in the attached file.

Can you do something to optimize your activeX ?

Regards

PS : sorry for my english....

Hi,

It seems dashed lines are drawn very slowly by GDI+, and there are more of them at the bottom of your flowchart. You could either use the geClassic graphics mode, or set the links PenStyle to psSolid in order to improve the rendering speed.

I hope that helps,
Stoyan

Hi,

I have to keep the dash style for the lines.
So I have disabled the GDI+ graphics mode.
I have also put the textstyle to tsCenterML instead of tsCenter. It seems that GDI+ manage correctly the CRLF characters.

And now, it works !!

Thanks
