Exact positioning of appointments

[edit: actually already solved, see reply below!]

Hello,

I have been building quite a large control around your Planner .Net control and have to say that your control really works wonders for us!

What I have been trying to do is position appointments on our TimeTableView calendar in a more exact manner. Suppose the cellTime is set to 15 minutes and an appointment starts at xx:10 hours. The appointment will we draw in the xx:00 cell, but the moveBand will indicate that it actually starts later.

What I would like is to actually position the appointment somewhere at 2/3 of the xx:00 cell, so that it actually starts at xx:10, without the need of indicating this using the move band.

Also, if possible, I would like the collision detection to really work like this. So when one appointments ends at say 12:05 and another starts at 12:10, they will actually be placed besides each other, in stead of on top of each other.

Our decision on purchasing your control is really largely based on this functionality. We have invested a considerable amount of time in building something around your control, but this functionality is rather crucial for us. Going into great technical depths won't be a problem, we just really want to get this done..

Thank you in advance!
Paul

Haha! I went through this forum more thoroughly and came across an old thread regarding the same matter.. It seems that the property TimeTableSettings.ShowPadding set to disabled does the trick  Grin

Hope you haven't bothered reading the above yet! Wink

Try setting the ShowPadding property of the Calendar.TimetableSettings object to State.Disabled.
