Html export possible
May 7th, 2014 at 2:43pm

Hi all, I have a document in xlsx format. I'm working on an app that should perform regular updates to this document, preferably in a visual environment, and export the result to html. Is this possible to do with your component?

Greets,
JonBr.

Hi,

We do not currently provide exporting to HTML, but we have this planned for the next release of the control.

Regards,
Meppy

Hi,

We don't have a set date for the next release. It will probably be out the next month.

Hi,

We have added HTML and MHTML exporters to the Spreadsheet component. A new version of the Demo and the updated assemblies can be downloaded from the following link:

http://mindfusion.eu/_temp/_sample_SpreadsheetDemo.zip

You can access the new exporters from the File->Export menu.

Regards,
Meppy

Hi Meppy, the exporter looks good so far. However, the documents I operate with can contain dozens, sometimes even hundreds of sheets. Exporting all sheets in one file results in a huge HTML that is hard to manage. Ideally, I would want to export sheets to separate files or at least have an option to export individual sheets.

Hi,

Have a look at the updated version of the assemblies:

http://mindfusion.eu/_samples/_sample_SpreadsheetDemo.zip

You can use the new FromWorksheet and ToWorksheet properties of the exporter class to specify which worksheets to export.

Meppy
