MindFusion.Reporting 2.0 Released

MindFusion has released a new version of its Reporting for WinForms - the perfect tool for adding professional reports to your WinForms application - fast and easy. This release adds powerful new features for export, design and customization. Here are the details:

ReportEditor control

You can embed the ReportEditor into any application and give your users the ability to create, save open, preview and print reports. The working area of the control consists of designer area, property grid, toolbox and preview panel. The ReportEditor provides a variety of features, among which clipboard operations, undo and redo, the ability to register external data sources inside the editor, simplified serialization and many more.

XML Serialization

Reporting for WinForms now supports full XML serialization - just call the SaveToXml and LoadFromXml methods.

Report Parameters

You can now add parameters to the new Parameters collection of the Report class. The parameters provide name, description and value and can be of any type, including expression.

Expression Editor Improvements

The built-in Expression Editor now provides direct access to the built-in expression functions as well as the available keywords, operators, report parameters and table fields.
