BITOR

Returns the bitwise 'OR' of the specified numbers.

Syntax

BITOR( Integer x, Integer y ) → Integer

Parameters

x

Required. The first argument of the operation. Must be greater than or equal to zero.

y

Required. The second argument of the operation. Must be greater than or equal to zero.

Remarks

This function calculates the bitwise 'OR' of its arguments, that is, the value of each bit position is 1 if at least one of the parameter's bits at that position is 1.

If either argument is less than 0 or greater than or equal to (2^48), BITOR returns the #NUM! error value. If an argument is not an integer number, the argument is converted automatically.
